About the role

  • Define and prioritize the Data Platform backlog aligned with corporate strategy and the demands of tribes and business areas.
  • Act as a bridge between engineering, architecture, governance, product teams and consuming areas, promoting an integrated view of the data lifecycle.
  • Conduct continuous discovery with technical and business stakeholders to identify infrastructure, data, integration, governance and automation needs.
  • Ensure the evolution of corporate data products (MDM, Corporate Hub, catalog, data contracts, analytical layers).
  • Lead standardization and automation initiatives (DataOps/MLOps), ensuring operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Monitor success metrics such as platform adoption, data quality, cost reduction, ingestion SLA and usage of data products.
  • Support migration to AWS and the modernization of data ingestion, processing, access and consumption flows.
  • Engage stakeholders and lead governance, prioritization and tracking processes for platform workstreams.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or in a Data leadership role (platforms, engineering, analytics, data governance or data products).
  • Strong knowledge of modern data architectures (data lake, data mesh, data fabric, event streaming, APIs).
  • Familiarity with practices and tools such as DataOps, ingestion pipelines, data catalog, governance and observability.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent communication skills with technical teams and executives, translating business problems into data and infrastructure requirements.
  • Experience with product management tools (Azure DevOps).
  • Preferred: knowledge of AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, SageMaker), data quality and catalog tools, and MLOps practices.
