About the role
- Research, prospect, and engage cold and warm clients via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels
- Conduct discovery calls and qualify needs, budgets, and decision-making timelines
- Monitor industry trends and indicators to spark thought leadership content and novel communications
- Share the Local Hero brand, value proposition, and product suite
- Work with leadership and other business units to design industry-specific outbound strategy and assets
- Maintain current and accurate CRM records and lay the groundwork for lasting relationships
- Schedule meetings, demos, and engagements for Corporate and Franchisee Sales
- Support leadership to manage pitches and deals including internal and external deadline calendars and communications
- Create or assist the production of pipeline and reporting meetings
- Assist marketing in messaging outreach
- Build and present program reporting
- Help manage client data across a range of technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years of experience in front-line sales and or a Business Development role
- Skilled writer and verbal communicator
- Proven ability to generate leads and exceed activity targets
- Tech-savvy with experience using CRM tools (HubSpot)
- Curiosity and passion for digital marketing solutions
- Experience in local marketing, ad tech, or agency sales
- Understanding of small business or franchise marketing challenges
- Strong interest in digital marketing and marketing technology
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience working with CRM platforms and knack for learning new systems
- Can easily build rapport and advocate for client needs
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated with strong analytical skills
- Takes personal responsibility
- Flexible and able to work under pressure
