Key responsibilities & impact

Manage, maintain, and optimize Linux-based production and non-production environments.
Support hybrid infrastructure across **AWS** and **on-premises** environments.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using **Ansible**.
Build, maintain, and improve **GitLab CI/CD** pipelines to streamline software delivery.
Monitor system health, performance, and availability using observability and monitoring tools, ensuring proactive issue detection and resolution.
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using **Docker** and **Kubernetes**.
Perform routine database administration and operational support, including backups, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure reliable and secure service delivery.
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Requirements

What you’ll need

**3–5 years of professional experience** in a SysOps, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Operations role.
Strong hands-on experience with **Linux** system administration.
Experience managing infrastructure in **AWS** and **on-premises** environments.
Proficiency with **Ansible** for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
Experience designing and maintaining **GitLab CI/CD** pipelines.
Knowledge of **Docker** and **Kubernetes** for container orchestration and application deployment.
Experience with observability, logging, and monitoring solutions.
Understanding of database operations, including routine maintenance, backups, and performance monitoring.
Familiarity with scripting (Bash, Python, or similar) is considered an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
