About the role

Build and secure CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab, Bitbucket, AWS CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, or similar tools.
Integrate vulnerability scanning, container scanning, and security gates into automated build workflows.
Deploy and support Kubernetes clusters using tools like Helm and Rancher.
Automate infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
Write scripts (Bash, Python, etc.) to support system automation and secure deployments.
Stand up monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK.
Manage secrets, permissions, and identity integrations (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID).
Guide developers and platform teams on secure software design and deployment best practices.
Support RMF documentation, FedRAMP compliance, and ATO readiness activities.
Maintain disaster recovery and continuity plans; conduct periodic drills.
Research, test, and implement new security tools and techniques to stay ahead of evolving threats.

Active Secret clearance or higher.
3+ years of experience in DevSecOps, infrastructure automation, or platform engineering.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
Security+ or equivalent
Strong background in Linux and containerized environments.
Proficiency with Kubernetes and container orchestration engines (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift).
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
Familiarity with secure software development lifecycles and Agile practices.
2+ years of experience writing code (C#, Python, or similar).
Deep understanding of version control, rollback strategies, and artifact promotion.
Experience integrating static and dynamic code scanning tools into build pipelines.
AWS or Azure Associate certification (Bonus Points).
Past involvement in FedRAMP, FISMA, or RMF ATO processes (Bonus Points).
Previous support of U.S. Navy systems or logistics platforms (Bonus Points).
