About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and optimize warehouse layouts to improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement processes for inventory management and control.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for warehouse processes and procedures.
  • Build and analyze KPI to identify trends and areas for improvement in warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate warehouse systems with other business processes.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
  • Provide technical support and training to warehouse staff on equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize distribution strategies.
  • Support the implementation of automated systems and robotics in warehouse operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations or related engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with process optimization and lean methodologies.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, SQL, or similar.
  • Familiarity with automated warehouse technologies and equipment.
  • Ability to design and implement efficient warehouse layouts.
  • Experience in inventory management and control practices.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if required.
  • Certification in Six Sigma or similar methodologies is a plus.
