💰 $103,000 - $170,580 per year
About the role
- Work with the engineering team to ensure successful integration of each design element with the product as a whole
- Lead and direct the work of the team to accomplish department goals and fulfill customer needs
- Development of aircraft structural layouts and design of individual components, assemblies, and installations
- Design and integration of aircraft mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, environmental control systems
- Review and understand customer’s Statement of Work (SOW), technical specifications, schedules and budgets
- Create/compile technical documentation that supports evolving/changing designs
- Communicate with customers and suppliers, translating technical information and ensuring compliance to standards
- Guide, mentor and advise other design engineering staff
Requirements
- Requires a BSME, BSCE, BSAE, or a Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the Aerospace Industry or in a related field
- Proficiency using NX, CATIA V5/V6 or CREO
- Highly competent using MS Office products
- Strong leadership ability
- Excellent communication skills are necessary.
