About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver high-quality visual and interaction design across mobile and browser interfaces
- Craft end-to-end user experiences through wireframing, journey mapping, prototyping and delivery-ready screens
- Balance business requirements with user needs using research evidence and rationale
- Bring designs to life at low and high fidelity using prototyping software, primarily Figma
- Work within the established central design system and use components to balance content and UI elements
- Deliver final designs in Figma, annotated and ready for development
- Collaborate with developers and engineers to build and launch experiences in the app
- Iterate and improve designs based on performance data and customer feedback
- Advocate customer inclusion and accessible design
- Present work to stakeholders and adapt designs based on feedback, user research and usability testing
- Work collaboratively with product, design and engineering teams and take ownership of design output
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrable experience across User Experience (UX) and Visual Design
- Proven digital design experience, preferably mobile app design experience
- Strong Figma skills
- Excellent prototyping skills for digital experiences in low and high fidelity
- Comfortable using existing design systems and recommending improvements
- Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative research data and insights
- Familiarity working in a complex landscape; financial services experience beneficial but not essential
- Collaborative mindset for working with a multi-disciplinary team
- Proficient in seeing designs through to delivery and communicating with developers
- Ability to design for users across backgrounds, ages and abilities
- Strong advocacy of customer inclusivity and accessibility
- Relevant transferable experience accepted
