About the role
- Build trusted relationships across business and finance
- Build and lead regular and ad hoc financial performance updates, interpreting financials and challenging the business
- Support the business in making strategic decisions around pricing, proposition and Investment
- Learn in depth about the products we offer across BCB & CIB, needing to show curiosity to understand performance and build new analysis to help drive this forward
- Forecasting and Planning to help set the direction of the business providing challenge to ensure we meet our financial commitments
- Collaborate with the wider FBP community to support the BCB Growth Forum and CIB Finance Resource Meeting
- Build an in depth knowledge on how a bank makes money, including Income, Costs, Capital and Funding & liquidity providing expert advice to the business
Requirements
- Proactivity to interpret performance and clearly communicate key stories and messages to the business
- A curiosity to learn about the business, performance and our processes to deliver insight, control and courage to challenge
- An ability to build trusted relationships with a variety of people and teams and work with those teams to support our purpose and goals
- A desire to improve the way we do things

- Ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders to drive business performance forward
- Experience in Business partnering
- Experience in Forecasting and Planning
- Experience of working within a similar team or business.
- A finance qualification is desirable
