About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Accountable for the end ‑ to ‑ end ownership of a portfolio of c. 40 SME Invoice Finance clients.
- Balancing risk control, client experience, and sustainable income generation.
- Protect and grow the value of the portfolio by ensuring facilities are well ‑ structured, risks are actively managed.
- Engage and retain clients, identify issues and additional income opportunities.
- Optimise income and portfolio value by balancing pricing discipline and identifying incremental opportunities.
- Ensure effective onboarding and transition from Sales, implementing new business compliantly.
- Maintain strong relationships across stakeholders, advocating for Invoice Finance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong understanding of Invoice Finance / Asset Based Lending products and risk drivers, ideally 3 to 5 years of experience.
- Ability to analyse financial and collateral data and convert insight into clear actions.
- Commercial judgement balanced with risk awareness.
- Effective communicator, capable of influencing clients and internal stakeholders.
- Developing sector knowledge relevant to the SME portfolio.
- Full and current UK driving licence.
- Detailed knowledge of the working capital needs of construction clients and the risks associated with funding against contractual type debt.
- Well-developed stakeholder network within the IF/ABL market.
