About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide support for complex environments to tight timescales
- Help drive the strategy and design across the mainframe development and test estate
- Work closely with key stakeholders, drive and deliver against the technology roadmap
- Enforce standardisation and assist with improvement initiatives in the team
- Work collaboratively across the wider Middleware teams to develop, promote, and implement process initiatives
- Ensure processes and procedures are strictly adhered to
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive knowledge of MQ infrastructure on zOS
- Strong experience of MQ system performance tuning and diagnosis
- Experience of supporting and troubleshooting critical on-line systems
- Experience with Transport Layer Security (TLS)
- Diagnostic skills and an ability to analyse technical information from multiple sources
