Finance Analyst, Consumer Lending

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Communicating the narrative of the business’s performance and assisting in projecting future business results through the planning process
- Delivering insightful, high-quality month-end reporting, ensuring robust controls, and serving as a specialist in management accounting
- Developing a broad network of contacts across Finance, with collaboration between teams being crucial to your success in this role
- Meeting individual and team objectives while investing in your personal development by improving your skills and capabilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Qualified or in the final year as an accountant (ACA or equivalent experience, ACCA, CIMA)
- 12 months or more experience analysing performance and explaining drivers in movement with senior colleagues
- 12 months or more experience maintaining strong financial control at the core of finance activities
- The ability to demonstrate continuous improvements achieved to current processes, illustrating curiosity and the ability challenge the status quo
- A high collaborator who enjoys engaging with people from various areas
- Experience in Planning/Budgeting in a Business Context would be really useful
- Experience in Monthly Performance Reporting would be really useful
- Financial Services background would be really useful
- Confidence in using Excel/PowerPoint and other Microsoft applications would be really useful
