About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Help shape the cloud foundations that enable the organization to operate securely, scale efficiently and innovate responsibly
Design, build and optimize GCP infrastructure using a wide range of cloud services
Deliver Infrastructure‑as‑Code through Terraform and modular design patterns
Develop automation using tools such as Python, Bash or Groovy
Evolve the CI/CD ecosystem across technologies such as Jenkins, Harness and GitHub
Work with Kubernetes (GKE) and modern deployment approaches to support scalable, resilient platforms
Work closely with Infrastructure, Systems, Architecture and Software Engineering teams to deliver secure, automated and high‑quality cloud solutions
Contribute to engineering quality through code reviews, design input and full lifecycle ownership
Help guide and support more junior team members
Participate in an on‑call support rota and occasional out‑of‑hours work

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong hands‑on experience with GCP services across a broad range
Advanced experience with Terraform and IaC
Proficiency in automation scripting (Python, Bash, Groovy)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Harness and GitHub
Experience managing environments using GKE or similar Kubernetes deployments
Ability to work across engineering domains with excellent communication and collaboration
Google Cloud Professional certifications would be great
Experience writing security guardrails (Sentinel or similar)
Experience with monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace or Cloud Monitoring
Strong creativity, adaptability and a continuous-learning mindset.
