About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the Assured Build team, engineering and scaling secure, automated solutions across LBG
- Build automation, integrating security baselines into engineering workflows, and enabling secure-by-design delivery
- Develop and enhance services that reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and increase coverage of security assurance
- Contribute to enterprise-scale automation (including CI/CD integration, tooling, and data-driven reporting)
- Assure security configurations in both static build artefacts and CI/CD pipelines
- Drive greater automation, consistency, and reuse of security artefacts
- Embed security earlier into the engineering lifecycle
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in software engineering and DevOps practices, ideally within a large-scale or enterprise environment
- Experience with scripting and programming languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript, PowerShell) and working with pipelines or automation tooling
- Hands-on technical experience with the ability to write, fix, and improve code
- A broad understanding of cyber security domains, including cloud security (Azure and/or GCP)
- An outcome-focused approach, with the ability to deliver end-to-end solutions while maintaining attention to detail
- A strong understanding of secure-by-design principles across the development lifecycle
- A passion for automating repetitive tasks and improving engineering efficiency
- Clear understanding of containerisation technologies and associated tooling (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and repository-based workflows (e.g. GitHub or similar)
- Exposure to vulnerability scanning, configuration assurance, or security tooling
- Working with databases and data-driven solutions
- Building automation or workflow solutions (e.g. Power Platform)
