About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the coordination and continuous improvement of the Change Execution operational risks and controls within CIB
  • Ensure risk profiles and control environments are accurate and up to date
  • Provide control oversight of the IT Systems supporting the implementation of committed change
  • Act as point of contact for Change and IT Systems methodology and risk policy controls and processes
  • Provide control insights into change programmes
  • Support initiatives to embed “Control by Design” principles and automation
  • Oversee ongoing review and re-assessment of Change Execution and IT System risk profiles and control environment
  • Ensure all material risks are identified, captured, and appropriately assessed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Risk Open Pages system
  • Ensure Issues and Action Plans are in place for open material events or risks outside appetite

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Risk & Control Knowledge
  • Understanding of risk frameworks (e.g., RCSA), control environments, and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of non-financial risk types relevant to CIB (e.g., conduct, economic crime, data, resilience).
  • Familiarity with Control by Design (CbD) methodology.
  • Data Insights & Tools
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and support action planning.
  • Experience with risk reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) and risk management systems.
  • Communication & Collaboration
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills for reporting and engagement.
