Key responsibilities & impact

Support day‑to‑day delivery of Surveillance Oversight activity
Contribute to effective oversight of Market Abuse risks across products and markets
Assist with review and analysis of Surveillance performance information
Produce accurate and timely data, documentation, and analysis
Support the identification and documentation of findings and observations
Contribute to the preparation of oversight, assurance, and governance outputs
Maintain clear and robust audit trail and supporting evidence
Support Compliance monitoring, assurance or testing work over Surveillance controls
Assist with investigation and analysis of Surveillance‑related queries
Use analytical tools and techniques to support efficient delivery and continuous improvement of Surveillance Oversight processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 2 years’ experience in Compliance, Conduct Risk, Market Abuse or a related control or risk environment
Strong interest in building a career in this area
Working knowledge of the UK regulatory framework relevant to Market Abuse and Surveillance
Understanding of Compliance frameworks, policies and governance
Comfortable analysing information, documenting evidence, and supporting oversight outcomes
Strong attention to detail and clear written communication skills
A collaborative approach, curiosity and willingness to learn
Confidence to raise concerns appropriately
Working understanding of Global Markets and Coverage activities (nice to have)
Exposure to Surveillance activity, alert handling or quality assurance processes (nice to have)
Experience in supporting delivery of trainings in the MAR space (nice to have)
Experience contributing to regulatory-facing or governance documentation (nice to have)
