About the role
- Lead designs through every stage of the process, from concept through production, for one of our platforms
- Inspire and lead designers and researchers to keep customers at the heart of thinking
- Shape and deliver end-to-end customer experiences with data analysts, behavioural scientists and other specialist roles
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, engineers and senior leaders to implement ideas
- Influence proposition and business teams, drive strategic initiatives and a holistic design approach
- Mentor and develop a growing team of multi-disciplinary designers
Requirements
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams of 20-30 people
- Ability to inspire designers and researchers to be creative and ensure customers are at the heart of thinking
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders
- Experience partnering with product owners, business analysts, engineers and senior leaders to see ideas through to implementation
- Experience shaping design strategy, concept development, and delivery
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor a growing design team
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
