💰 $65,000 - $70,000 per year
About the role
- Provide individual therapy sessions to clients with various mental health needs (target: 25–30 billable sessions/week)
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based frameworks (DBT, CBT, trauma-informed approaches, etc.)
- Facilitate group therapy or psychoeducational groups as assigned
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques (EMDR, DBT, SE, IFS etc) to facilitate client progress.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Facilitate workshops and participate in community tabling events to promote mental wellness.
- Stay current with best practices in therapy and attend ongoing professional development.
- Participate in Bi-weekly team meetings and practice initiatives
- Contribute to community programming, workshops, or circles as capacity allows
- Engage warmly and professionally with clients, referral partners, and community members
Requirements
- Active New York State licensure: LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LMFT (no associates or pre-licensed candidates at this time)
- Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience
- Demonstrated experience with trauma-informed care and at least one evidence-based modality (DBT, CBT, EMDR, CPT, etc.)
- Experience working with diverse populations, including BIPOC communities
- Strong written documentation skills; experience with EHR systems
- Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities and mental health issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Preferred Bilingual (Spanish or Haitian Creole)
- Experience with substance use treatment (SUD certification a plus)
- Experience with working with children/families and couples
- Background in community mental health, outpatient, or group practice settings
- Comfort with telehealth platforms and hybrid care delivery
