About the role
- Drive the analytics and execution programs of the Duty Audit function.
- Oversee the preparation, review and analysis of financial data related to customs duties and taxes, client billings, and government remittances.
- Partner with business unit leader(s) and/or finance leaders to provide financial guidance and support.
- Propose and influence alternate financial and business solutions which link to process improvements.
- Prepare routine and ad hoc reporting of key financial information in a timely manner.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Respond to requests for information and reports.
Requirements
- 5 years of related experience
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
- One or more accounting designations, such as CPA or CFA required.
- Strong business acumen, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to address complex challenges with large datasets.
- Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite.
