• Designing and improving services end to end, ensuring they are user-centred, secure, and operationally sustainable
• Producing and maintaining key service design artefacts, including service documentation, blueprints, support models, and service level requirements
• Supporting the transition of new and changed services into live operation, contributing to readiness, documentation, and handover activities
• Defining and supporting service levels, availability targets, and capacity requirements in collaboration with relevant teams
• Embedding risk management, resilience, and business continuity considerations into service designs
• Working closely with stakeholders to understand demand, setting expectations, and ensuring services are fit for purpose and ready to progress through governance.

Service Designer – Fixed Term Contract

Compliance

• Partnering with Business Capability Areas (BCAs) to both support and challenge effective operations from a governance and oversight perspective.
• Driving continuous improvement of the information security management system (ISMS) to ensure it stays relevant considering evolving standards and security practices.
• Oversee and manage assurance and other related actions within the GRAC module of ServiceNow.
• Planning, scoping and conducting internal audits of the LI risk landscape to evaluate compliance (including with ISO27001) and identifying areas for enhancement.
• Agreeing mitigation plans and timelines with stakeholders as required.
• Supporting the wider GRAC function with the completion of a range of Knowledge and Information Management (KIM) tasks, including Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and Information Asset Owner management.
• Scrutinising Data Sharing Agreements and monitoring changes in legislative requirements.
• Playing an important role in the review and challenge of policies, procedures and controls ensuring these are comprehensive and fit for purposes as part of the wider risk management framework.
• Working alongside GRAC colleagues, develop and deliver induction and refresher training on GRAC topics helping to develop a risk aware culture within LI.

Governance, Risk and Compliance Business Partner

Business Analyst

• Conducting detailed business and technical requirements analysis in collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Eliciting, analysing, validating, and documenting business requirements to ensure a clear understanding of needs and desired outcomes.
• Translating business requirements into clear, structured, and testable functional and non-functional requirements.
• Supporting the design of scalable and sustainable IT solutions that meet business needs, working closely with architects and development teams.
• Modelling current and future business processes using BPMN or similar frameworks to identify improvement opportunities.
• Acting as a key liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring clear, consistent communication throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborating with Product Owners and Architects to understand product roadmaps, priorities, and technical constraints.
• Supporting the development and refinement of product backlogs, including epics, features, and user stories, ensuring they are well-defined and ready for development.
• Working with development teams during delivery to clarify requirements and support correct implementation.
• Participating in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Documenting business processes, user journeys, and functional designs to support solution development and change adoption.
• Supporting data-related analysis required to inform requirements and solution design, working alongside data and reporting specialists where appropriate.
• Contributing to service design and business change activities to support smooth transition into live operation.
• Identifying and documenting risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and decisions related to requirements and scope.
• Supporting delivery planning and progress tracking in collaboration with Project Managers or Delivery Leads.
• Providing walkthroughs or demonstrations of functionality to stakeholders to support understanding and acceptance.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, tools, and ways of working
