About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supervises assigned personnel to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Monitors personal appearance, dress code, and conduct of personnel
Maintains a current file of all Solairus Aviation memorandums
Coordinates, schedules and reviews applicable crew and maintenance personnel training
Develops scheduling procedures with clients to promote reliable scheduling of aircraft
Approves and schedules Personal Time Off (PTO) for assigned personnel
Updates flight coordinator regarding aircraft schedule changes
Conducts meetings with personnel to coordinate activities, identify problems, and promote goodwill
Approves expense accounts for assigned personnel
Participates in the interview process of all assigned personnel
Notifies the applicable Client Responsible Officer of anticipated needs for pilot relief
Submits written reports as required by Operations Manuals
Maintains a Training Currency and Monthly Flight Time Record for each crewmember
Promotes customer goodwill through high quality service
Actively participates in the Safety Management System (SMS) implementation

Requirements

3000 hours of total time
1500 hours PIC
1500 hours MEL
500 hours MEL PIC
500 hours in Turbo Jet
250 hours of Instrument Time
Management background with exceptional leadership skills
NBAA CAM certification or other applicable leadership training preferred
Experience in multiple facets of training for flight operations personnel
Budget development and management experience
College degree and/or advanced (non-flight) training
