About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform administrative, campaign, and marketing support duties for the Comedy Club Marketing Team
- Support marketing campaigns driving ticket sales and event awareness across comedy clubs and markets
- Build and schedule email newsletters and SMS campaigns through owned CRM channels
- Assist with digital advertising campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and other paid media platforms
- Request artwork and creative assets and help manage projects through delivery
- Research comic, audience, and market demographic information
- Coordinate organic social media content and promotional messaging
- Maintain marketing and content calendars
- Coordinate grassroots marketing campaigns and community outreach
- Support presale, group sales, partner, festival, and community-based promotional initiatives
- Assist with in-venue marketing updates, including posters, signage, and digital screens
- Enter show and campaign information into marketing tools and tracking systems
- Code and process advertising and marketing invoices and maintain records
- Prepare event marketing recap reports with activities, metrics, learnings, and supporting materials
- Provide day-of-show marketing and event coverage as needed
- Collaborate with Marketing, Booking, Operations, and other internal teams
- Maintain campaign files, trackers, timelines, and documentation
- Work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by show dates and deadlines
- Assist with additional duties and special projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Extensive live entertainment knowledge preferred
- Event planning, comedy, concert, or sports marketing experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while juggling multiple tasks
- 1–3 years of prior experience in event assisting/planning or marketing within entertainment, sports, or public assembly facility settings
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a busy, high-pressure team setting
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to navigate various stakeholders and teams
- Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
