About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage accounting for individual venue revenue and expense accounts
  • Assist Accountants and Manager with account reconciliations and ad hoc requests
  • Reconcile General Ledger accounts and research discrepancies to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare and enter month-end journal entries
  • Reconcile the sales system with the General Ledger
  • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, company procedures and policies, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
  • Maintain, control, and reconcile basic to moderately complex accounts
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports and schedules
  • Review and manage the P-Card process and transactions
  • Assist with special projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1–3 years’ comparable work experience
  • Quality problem solving and communication skills
  • Oracle experience is a plus
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain, control, and reconcile basic to moderately complex accounts
  • Ability to prepare daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports and schedules
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
  • Ability to review and manage P-Card processes and transactions
