About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, credit card and expense management
- Prepare invoices and complete finance work within required timeframes
- Ensure all budgeted expenses are paid and approved according to company policy
- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations
- Review and approve new vendor account setups to ensure timely invoice processing
- Support the Finance team with documentation, month-end processes, and reporting data entry
- Help maintain accurate financial operations across the busy festival season
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 2 years of working experience in accounting
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Confident and clear communication skills
- Ability to build trust and influence across teams
- Comfortable working at speed in a high-volume environment
- Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards under pressure
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Prior experience in the events industry is a bonus
