About the role

  • Responsible for all sales and field support activities for the LivaNova Cardiopulmonary product portfolio in the assigned region
  • Report continuously to the Sales Director DACH about sales, market trends, challenges, etc
  • Responsible for implementation of the yearly sales budget and phasing for your product range
  • Accurate account planning and targeting is an essential part of this position
  • Achieve sales objective in the territory through existing, developing and new account management according to strategic guidelines provided by management
  • Support key account management through reliable information, accurate planning and well-known customers
  • Execute Account profiling and targeting according to sales process in place and update CRM database (Salesforce) as requested
  • Report on sales, marketing, competitive activities on monthly basis through sales reporting according to guidelines provided by sales management
  • Develop an appropriate network in all accounts with all stakeholders (perfusionist, doctors, nurses, purchasers, medical technology dept., etc.) which also includes the decision-makers - e.g. chief surgeons, chief perfusionists and purchasing managers
  • Responsible for Opex for the territory according to guidelines provided by sales management, and report expenses accordingly
  • Represent properly LivaNova according to best in class professional and ethical standards
  • Behave strictly according to the company compliance policy
  • Support local/global marketing, market access or clinical as requested
  • Able to establish and develop personal contacts with KOL’s
  • Ability to enter clinical discussions at a high level

Requirements

  • Bachelor or comparable degree required (technical, engineering, bioscience, sales, etc.); Master in any of the mentioned or comparable disciplines preferred
  • Proven medical sales experience , very good understanding of clinical and healthcare systems
  • Experience of sales contacts at a high-level desirable
  • Results and detail-orientated
  • Able to work independently and take responsibility for actions
  • Self-motivated
  • Enjoy frequent customer contacts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and speaking skills
  • German and English language: full professional proficiency is a must
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and social skills
  • Willing and able to travel extensively and spontaneously - as required by workload, by car, by train, etc.
  • Self-organized, book travels in advance and optimize business trips regarding efficiency
