About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Preview color lab dips, prints, and strike offs in collaboration with the Designer and Product Development team to drive timely approvals
  • Communicate feedback clearly and track approval status across all active development stages
  • Review and adjust artwork placements and croppings to ensure accuracy and consistency across product styles
  • Maintain organized artwork files and version history to support the broader design team
  • Maintain internal Licensed Development Tracker
  • Submit linesheets and CADs for Concept approval within Licensed Databases
  • Support the creation of artwork millsheets and pull colors as needed to facilitate production handoffs
  • Ensure documentation is complete, clearly labeled, and aligned with current seasonal standards
  • Own the Bill of Materials (BOMs) for license product styles, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates throughout the development cycle
  • Own communication with licensed PD partners for concepts, development, timelines
  • Assist with style guide and trend research for designs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1-2 years of experience in the licensed soft goods market
  • 3-5 years of experience in a design, product development, or apparel/textile preferred
  • Familiarity with color approval processes (lab dips, strike offs, print proofing) is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with Licensed Partners is a plus
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) required
  • Experience with BOMs or product development software is helpful; training will be provided
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple timelines simultaneously
  • Collaborative team player with clear and proactive communication skills
  • Passion for children's apparel, print design, and the Little Sleepies brand is a plus
