About the role
- Process Vehicle Transactions : Record new and used car purchases, dealer trades, and wholesale vehicle sales.
- Contract Submissions : Submit service and warranty contracts accurately and on time.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable : Handle vendor invoice payments, regional check runs, and collection of dealership AR balances.
- Cash & Refund Processing : Manage cash receipts, refund checks, and customer referral checks.
- Reconciliations : Perform FTC, rebate, and intercompany account reconciliations.
- Manufacturer Accounting : Account for manufacturer-related monies such as parts, warranty, and incentives.
- Schedule Reviews : Conduct and maintain schedule reviews using SAR and SPARK Notes.
- Lien & Warranty Handling : Request lien payoffs and process warranty cancellations.
Requirements
- Bookkeeping certification, associate’s degree in accounting, or 2 years of relevant experience (required)
- Auto industry or retail/customer service experience (preferred)
