About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct client calls to answer legal questions related to their immigration cases and provide case status updates within established guidelines
  • Explain legal processes and next steps to clients in a clear, professional, and compassionate manner
  • Review draft immigration applications pursuant to instructions from Senior Attorneys
  • Identify, track, and make necessary edits prior to submission
  • Clearly communicate to other team members regarding edits
  • Meet daily goals on reviewing cases and client calls
  • Perform legal research on immigration law topics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school
  • Active member in good standing of a state bar
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken) is required
  • Ability to follow detailed directions
  • Experience using a case management software system preferred
  • Interest in immigration law preferred
  • Computer skills (Typing - MS Word and MS Excel, Document Management-DropBox, Email - MS Outlook)
