Product Team Lead

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers, driving accountability, performance, and career growth.
- Hire, onboard, mentor, and support team members through all stages of development.
- Foster strong product thinking, prioritization skills, stakeholder management, customer-centricity, and decision-making across the team.
- Manage team capacity, balancing priorities while removing obstacles to execution.
- Translate organizational product strategy into actionable roadmaps, priorities, and team goals.
- Own a broad product area and ensure initiatives align with business objectives and client needs.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, define solutions, and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Continuously improve product processes including intake, discovery, prioritization, requirements management, and delivery practices.
- Serve as a Product Manager on strategic, complex, or high-visibility initiatives.
- Lead discovery efforts, define requirements, and shepherd initiatives from concept through delivery.
- Model product excellence by demonstrating strong product judgment, customer focus, and execution discipline.
- Help establish and mature product management as a core capability at LLF.
- Contribute to product operating models, standards, best practices, and team processes.
- Partner with product leadership to evolve the organization's long-term product strategy and ways of working.
- Work closely with Engineering, PMO, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Product Marketing teams.
- Balance business needs, technical considerations, regulatory requirements, and user experience priorities.
- Communicate product decisions, risks, progress, and outcomes clearly to senior leaders and stakeholders.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
- 5-7 years of Product Management experience with ownership of software, technology, or internal-facing products.
- 2-4 years of direct people leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and employee development.
- Strong experience leading cross-functional initiatives from discovery through launch.
- Proven ability to create product requirements, facilitate prioritization, and drive execution.
- Working knowledge of modern software development practices and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Experience with product management tools, road mapping platforms, backlog management, documentation, and collaboration software.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization.
