About the role

  • Design end-to-end Salesforce architecture solutions for complex business requirements, focusing on custom development (Apex, Lightning Components, Integrations).
  • Lead architectural reviews and set technical standards for scalable and high-performing Salesforce implementations.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce developers and admins.
  • Design business processes involving objects with a high volume of custom fields, ensuring usability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Architect workflows and automation for data-intensive and document-intensive operations, including generation, storage, e-signature, OCR, and secure sharing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and streamline business workflows, reducing manual interventions through Salesforce automation and integrations.
  • Translate business needs into well-architected solutions that leverage native Salesforce features and custom development where necessary.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and technical teams to define system architectures, data models, and integration strategies.
  • Lead technical design sessions, creating detailed design documentation and architecture artifacts.
  • Oversee development lifecycle, including custom object modeling, Apex development, Lightning Web Components (LWC), APIs, and integrations with third-party systems.
  • Ensure reliable, scalable integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise platforms.
  • Ensure quality assurance via code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to secure coding practices.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture and infrastructure teams to align Salesforce architecture with enterprise standards.
  • Recommend and implement innovative Salesforce technologies (e.g., Experience Cloud, AI/ML, Flow Orchestration) to enhance business processes.
  • Evaluate technical debt and lead efforts to modernize legacy implementations.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Salesforce experience, including at least 3 years in an architect role focused on custom development.
  • Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP).
  • Proven experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, or Salesforce DX.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform limits, security model, and multi-org architecture.
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect; Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is a plus.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Platform.
  • Experience designing workflows involving automated document generation, OCR, e-signature integration, and secure sharing.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire technical teams.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
