About the role
- Conduct outbound outreach to prospective and existing buyers across Brazil and Latin America via phone, email, WhatsApp, and other messaging platforms to drive engagement and bidding activity
- Promote live and upcoming auctions with relevant, personalized messaging to generate urgency and increase auction participation
- Identify and qualify new buyer leads, onboard them to the platform, and provide guidance on how to navigate and participate in auctions
- Reactivate lapsed or dormant buyers by uncovering their product interests and matching them with relevant inventory
- Partner with the marketing team to refine messaging, suggest localized campaign strategies, and support promotional efforts for key surplus categories
- Maintain accurate tracking of outreach activity, buyer interactions, and performance metrics using CRM tools
- Provide insights to internal teams on buyer needs, auction feedback, and opportunities to enhance market penetration
Requirements
- Fluency in Portuguese (required) and proficiency in English (required)
- 2+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, or marketplace outreach—preferably in B2B or international markets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a persuasive and relationship-driven approach
- Comfortable initiating cold outreach and managing a high volume of buyer interactions
- Experience with CRMs like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of Brazil & Latin American markets and cultural nuances in buyer behavior is a strong plus
