About the role
- Strategy & Planning: Develop ICP-specific lifecycle strategies for email, SMS, and proactive live chat that align with the broader volumetric growth plan
- Segmentation & Audience Targeting: Develop and manage audience segments for each ICP, tailoring content, offers, and CTAs accordingly; ensure data hygiene and CRM integration
- Campaign Development & Execution: Build, launch, and manage automated and ad hoc campaigns across email, SMS, and proactive live chat; code responsive HTML emails; configure journeys; deploy AI live chat triggers
- Optimization & Performance: Monitor and improve lifecycle KPIs including Net-New MRR, expansion MRR, churn rate, and NRR; conduct A/B tests
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Paid Media, SEO, Content, Creative, CRO, and BI teams to align messaging and optimize landing pages
Requirements
- 5+ years in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing (SaaS, hosting, or ecommerce experience preferred)
- Proven track record building automated, multi-channel lifecycle programs that drive revenue growth
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation, ICP-based marketing, and behavior-driven triggers
- Hands-on experience with CRM & email/SMS automation platforms (Salesforce, Customer.io, HubSpot, etc.)
- HTML/CSS skills for email coding
- Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret KPIs and recommend optimizations accordingly
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Strong collaboration skills for working across marketing, product, and creative teams
