About the role
- Support the creation and maintenance of user journey maps, site maps, and content hierarchies to visualize and improve end-to-end experiences.
- Assist in developing and refining information architecture to ensure products are intuitive, consistent, and scalable.
- Conduct basic usability testing and feedback sessions to validate navigation, labeling, and content structure.
- Partner with product managers and designers to identify opportunities for clearer user flows and reduced friction points.
- Document findings in reports, diagrams, and presentations that clearly communicate opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure research and mapping outputs are actionable and aligned with business objectives.
- Help maintain UX standards, templates, and best practices for journey mapping and IA.
- Stay current on UX tools, trends, and methods, with a focus on accessibility and inclusive design.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology, Design, Communication, or a related field; equivalent practical experience also considered.
- 2+ years of experience in UX, information architecture, content strategy, or related work (internships and academic projects welcome).
- Familiarity with user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
- Basic understanding of journey mapping, information architecture, and content strategy.
- Exposure to UX or design tools (such as Figma, Sketch, Lucidchart, or Miro.)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly.
- A collaborative, curious, and empathetic mindset, with a passion for improving user experiences.
