Responsible for monthly cost of goods sold forecasting and annual budget preparation and analysis
Partner with both the Finance and Supply Chain teams to achieve cost reduction initiatives
Prepare analysis comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products
Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, and manufacturing methods to determine effects on costs
Manage the cost of products with independent co-packers
Lead and manage the excess and obsolete inventory process by partnering with the inventory control team
Perform analysis and variance analysis for all SKUs
Prepare, review, and present financial schedules
Prepare monthly actual vs. plan variance analysis for decision making support
Responsible for analyzing and preparing KPIs
Coordinate with cross-functional team leads to discuss and resolve issues impacting production
Review all inventory, freight-in & freight-out AP transactions
Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation
Ensure validity and accuracy of ERP through analysis, internal audit, and coordination

Requirements

BS in Finance, Operations or Economics or advanced degree (preferred but not required)
5+ years of relevant experience and deep operational knowledge in a standard cost manufacturing environment, preferably a CPG company
Advanced proficiency with ERP systems, with NetSuite experience preferred
Strong computer skills with advanced Excel proficiency
Experience working in multi-currency environments to support future growth
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Willingness to travel up to 15%
