About the role

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for web applications and APIs.
  • Collaborate with developers and Product Owners (POs) in agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) to define acceptance criteria.
  • Apply the Testing Pyramid to ensure efficient and sustainable coverage.
  • Write test scenarios using BDD (Gherkin) to align technical and business perspectives.
  • Validate data persistence through SQL queries.

Requirements

  • Programming Languages: Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  • Web Automation: Familiarity with frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium.
  • API Testing: Hands-on experience with Postman or similar tools for service-layer validation.
  • Databases: Ability to perform SQL queries for data manipulation and validation.
