About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • As a Junior Technical Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with our CTO and take a central role in troubleshooting technical issues related to our product.
  • You will act as the interface between Customer Success, customers, and Engineering.
  • You will analyze and resolve technical tickets from the Customer Success team (e.g., bugs, data issues, logic questions).
  • You will independently dive into existing codebases and identify root causes of technical problems.
  • You will actively communicate with Customer Success and customers to understand requirements and explain solutions clearly.
  • You will assist with feature adjustments and technical optimizations of our platform.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You have the drive and desire to solve technical problems independently.
  • You have programming experience (e.g., through studies, projects, or internships).
  • Ideally experienced with Ruby (on Rails), JS frontend frameworks (such as Angular), RESTful APIs, and SQL databases (such as Postgres).
  • You are a strong communicator and can explain technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders (e.g., customers, Customer Success).
  • You are analytically strong and approach problems in a structured way.
  • You are highly self-motivated and enjoy working independently.
  • You are fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
  • As a working student, you are available 15–20 hours per week, or you are available in a full-time role.
