About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the end-to-end onboarding and new hire experience, including orientation, benefits enrollment, background checks, and setup activities
- Manage annual benefits open enrollment and serve as the primary contact for employee benefits questions
- Partner with brokers to improve benefits offerings
- Maintain compliance with employment law, leave requirements, benefits, and compensation regulations, including recurring vendor audits
- Own HRIS administration, ensuring timely and accurate data entry and confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Partner with People and other departments on headcount management, new hire logistics, and offboarding
- Own People analytics and reporting, compiling and analyzing data for quarterly metrics reports
- Support compensation programs through job evaluations, job leveling, benchmarking, and new hire pay decisions
- Maintain and evolve performance management processes, including systems, training, and feedback
- Own engagement survey processes, analyze results, and propose actions to leaders
- Partner on employee matters, exit conversations, and investigations
- Advise managers and executives on performance management, leaves of absence, employee development, and employee relations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Generalist, or a related People/HR role, ideally in a SaaS or high-growth environment
- Hands-on experience administering employee benefits programs and owning HRIS data
- Working knowledge of employment law, leave of absence requirements, and compliance fundamentals
- Experience supporting compensation programs, including job evaluations, leveling, and benchmarking, is a plus
- Strong Excel and analytical skills, with ability to turn People data into clear reports and insights
- Excellent judgment and discretion when managing highly confidential information
- Highly organized and proactive, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Based in or able to work from the Boston office Tuesday and Thursday each week (hybrid)
