About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team of operations employees and ensure the operations and safety of everyone within your area
- Ensure all employees are adequately trained to identify hazards and safely carry out duties
- Deliver reliable business results
- Conduct annual review of operating procedures and assist in developing new procedures as needed
- Lead risk and incident management programs
- Develop/coordinate budgets, plans and forecasts; conduct regular cost analysis
- Cascade relevant safety-related communications to the local operations team members
- Promote and propose optimization efforts to capitalize on efficient and safe use of physical facilities
- Maintain a consistent and regular presence at work sites to supervise and audit critical safety procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma/GED and a minimum of ten (10) years' experience in processing plants, gathering, NGL/petrochemical and transmission pipelines, or other related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
- Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
