About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary liaison between IT and Project Execution (PEx) teams during early project phases
  • Drive alignment on scope, schedule, budget, and design deliverables
  • Ensure IT requirements are fully integrated into overall project planning
  • Coordinate across design leads, procurement, engineering, and OT/IT stakeholders
  • Establish infrastructure, connectivity, and system requirements ahead of construction
  • Focus on front-end planning, risk identification, and readiness for execution
  • Operate at the intersection of business, engineering, and technology
  • Translate project needs into actionable IT deliverables
  • Ensure continuity from design through downstream construction and commissioning phases
  • Cultivate relationships with clients and company partners; mentor others
  • Collaborate on software development process, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, modern testing methodologies, and deployment management
  • Track risks, dependencies, and interdependencies across multiple IT workstreams
  • Support procurement efforts and help define field requirements related to infrastructure, security, and communications early in the project lifecycle
  • Communicate clear status updates to stakeholders and leadership
  • Identify and resolve design gaps to maintain momentum and execution readiness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or engineering
  • Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in project management
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in information technology
  • Minimum eleven (11) years’ related business experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (preferred)
  • Demonstrates strong organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
