About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary liaison between IT and Project Execution (PEx) teams during early project phases
- Drive alignment on scope, schedule, budget, and design deliverables
- Ensure IT requirements are fully integrated into overall project planning
- Coordinate across design leads, procurement, engineering, and OT/IT stakeholders
- Establish infrastructure, connectivity, and system requirements ahead of construction
- Focus on front-end planning, risk identification, and readiness for execution
- Operate at the intersection of business, engineering, and technology
- Translate project needs into actionable IT deliverables
- Ensure continuity from design through downstream construction and commissioning phases
- Cultivate relationships with clients and company partners; mentor others
- Collaborate on software development process, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, modern testing methodologies, and deployment management
- Track risks, dependencies, and interdependencies across multiple IT workstreams
- Support procurement efforts and help define field requirements related to infrastructure, security, and communications early in the project lifecycle
- Communicate clear status updates to stakeholders and leadership
- Identify and resolve design gaps to maintain momentum and execution readiness
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or engineering
- Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in project management
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in information technology
- Minimum eleven (11) years’ related business experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (preferred)
- Demonstrates strong organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
