About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct technical and economic evaluations, performance testing, design and construction of new and existing facilities, and research on new developments
  • Providing regulatory compliance support for operations, engineering and projects in defined support area
  • Coordinating with state and federal regulators to facilitate DOT PHMSA / State Agency inspections
  • Engaging with projects to perform design reviews to ensure DOT 192 / 195 compliance
  • Completing regulatory DOT 192 / 195 Assurance through internal audits and acquisition integration
  • Reviewing forms and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Coordinating accident notifications to National Response Center and completing PHMSA accident reporting
  • Researching regulatory interpretations and identification of possible impacts to the organization
  • Researching DOT rule-making and state rule-making for incorporations into applicable procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
  • A minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
  • Proficiency in engineering specialties covering more than one subject area
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Minimum of 25% travel sometimes with minimal notice
