Supply Chain Specialist II/III – Operations & Maintenance

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a strategic driver of operational excellence, partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders to align supply chain strategies with enterprise priorities
- Lead planning, sourcing, and execution decisions that support operations, maintenance, and capital projects while leading transformation initiatives that enhance reliability, reduce risk, and create sustainable value
- Perform multifaceted tasks and projects of moderate complexity requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
- Support procurement processes
- Handle requisition traffic and procure quality materials/equipment in accordance with established purchasing policies and procedures
- Coordinate communication between internal customers and vendors
- Facilitate the resolution of disputes and claims
- Supervise required inspections, expediting and logistics support
- Analyze and report on market conditions and identify competitive opportunities to initiate competitive bid process; coordinate and facilitate pre-competitive meetings and provide input to bid awards
- Partner with internal stakeholders across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Projects to align supply chain strategies with business objectives while supporting safe, reliable, and efficient asset performance
- Lead transformation and continuous improvement of operational supply chain processes, supporting operations and maintenance through effective planning, scheduling, and coordination to anticipate demand, mitigate supply risk, and improve cost and reliability outcomes
- Apply a strategic, forward‑looking mindset to supply chain decision‑making, proactively optimizing sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and long‑term value creation
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma/GED and a minimum of two (2) years' experience (Supply Chain Specialist II)
- High School diploma/GED and a minimum of four (4) years' experience (Supply Chain Specialist III)
- Preferred: Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a technical field
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Up to 50% travel between field sites and Headquarters
