About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with a team of safety-focused technicians to maximize equipment reliability
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment
  • Contribute to programming and controls-related tasks
  • Perform calibrations and inspections
  • Execute field upgrades and rewiring projects
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Support teams, and contractors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma/GED and minimum of two (2) years’ experience as an Operations Technician or similar role
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience as an I&E Technician
  • Familiarity with Rosemount Transmitters by Emerson
  • Proficiency in the operation and troubleshooting of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
  • Solid understanding of 480V electrical switchgear components
  • Practical experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Fundamental knowledge of CAT engines and Ariel compressors
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities
  • Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
