About the role

- Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises in enclosed spaces as required
- Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift more if needed
- Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat for long periods
- Conduct mechanical maintenance, preventative maintenance, compliance activities, and general cleaning of facilities/assets
- Assist with a variety of tasks to safely maintain facility equipment and support operations
- Acquire knowledge of and follow requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities
- Complete assigned reports, logs, and maintain accurate records of process operations and performance of preventative maintenance on equipment
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma/GED
- Current enrollment in and completion of one semester of a technical associates or certificate program -- Industrial Technology Program, Diesel Technology Program, Electrical or I&E Program, Transportation and Applied Technology Program at Owens CC, Terra State CC, Lorain CCC, Penta Career Center, or an equivalent accredited technical institution
- Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Strong problem solving, analytical, creative thinking, and verbal/written communication skills
- Excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
