About the role
- Coordinates with our project teams to formulate contracting strategy that mitigates identified issues
- Assists with the development of the contract’s scope of work/schedule and identifies supporting documentation
- Facilitates the bidding and execution of construction contracts; reviews contracts to understand risk allocation
- Participates in cost analysis; schedules reports for compliance with the contract requirements and prepares relevant documentation
- Resolves sophisticated problems to improve performance, efficiency and safety
- Provides contractual support to field personnel and assists in providing written responses to and/or contributing resolution of disputes
- Participates in critical decision-making processes
- Ensures compliance with records and document management procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; minimum six (6) years’ related experience creating, bidding, negotiating and implementing construction contracts and CDT (CSI) certification
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- General knowledge and understanding of the oil and gas industry with specific knowledge regarding midstream engineering and construction operations
