About the role
- Guide a team of accounting professionals
- Continuously drive greater efficiencies and lower costs
- Coordinate with company partners to handle the accumulation, recording, accuracy and control of accounting transactions
- Assist in the resolution of accounting issues
- Coordinate workforce planning and career development activities for team members
- Hold team accountable for performing all work in accordance with requirements, standards, policies, procedures and processes
- Ensure adequate financial accounting controls and integrity of our financial records
- Collaborate with others to establish and maintain accounting policies, standards and processes in compliance with GAAP and accounting regulations
- Develop and handle financial analysis and reporting
- Lead sophisticated projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted accounting experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team
