About the role

  • Responds to requests for security assistance, updates security plans and coordinates assistance from regulatory agencies
  • Collaborates with local and federal agencies, regulators and internal business to ensure security needs are compliant; finds opportunities to improve physical security
  • Analyzes security metric data to achieve security efficiency
  • Governs physical security programs; sees opportunities for improvement of programs
  • Updates organization’s physical security standards and DOT Hazardous Materials Security Program
  • Develops and submits Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS), security risk assessments and alternate security plans for company facilities
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Required: Vocational/Technical/Business school or a minimum of six (6) years’ experience running technical security systems and experience within the technical security field or other related field (OR) eight (8) years equivalent experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrates outstanding organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Preferred: Experience working with local, state and federal law enforcement and regulatory agencies
