About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare and execute disposition opportunities from portfolio composition through closing
Serve as a primary point of contact for the region’s dispositions
Represent Link to the brokerage community and broader marketplace by showing a high degree of professionalism
Keep a pulse on transaction and leasing activity, other market participants, and macro shifts within the region
Work closely with the brokerage community, third-party consultants, and junior staff to underwrite and prepare materials for potential dispositions
In coordination with in-house and outside counsel, negotiate LOIs, access agreements, and purchase and sale agreements
Work closely with the operations team during due diligence through deal closing, serving as the primary deal lead
Work collaboratively with team members in other markets/regions and business units
Oversee, mentor, and develop junior staff
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years’ experience in investments or related fields
BA or BS in Finance, Real Estate Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related disciplines preferred
Strong academic record
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Argus (AE)
Strong understanding of financial concepts used to evaluate investments and build models, such as simple cash flow analyses, time value of money, return on investment, etc.
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical ability
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-motivation, determination, and initiative in a team environment
Demonstrated high attention to detail
Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced work environment
Demonstrated experience leading real estate transactions, including sourcing, negotiations, and execution of asset dispositions
Experience managing full deal lifecycle, including underwriting, marketing, due diligence, and closing processes
Ability to lead cross-functional deal teams, including legal, asset management, and operations partners
