Key responsibilities & impact

Own the Thai course entirely: quality, consistency, scope, and roadmap
Design a best-in-class Thai curriculum
Establish curriculum design principles and content standards
Write and review conversations, vocabulary sets, grammar notes, and cultural insights
Manage audio production workflows
Collaborate with product, engineering, and other language specialists
Potentially take on a leadership role within the language team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Native Thai speaker with deep intuition for natural, contemporary usage
English at C2 or near-native level
Experience in edtech, curriculum development, instructional design, or language teaching
Comfort working in a fast-paced startup where priorities shift and autonomy is expected
Understanding that Ling is a tech product
Strong pluses: Knowledge of or genuine interest in related Asian languages
Hands-on experience with Narakeet, Firebase, or Lokalise
Familiarity with CEFR frameworks
Background teaching Thai to foreigners or designing materials for adult learners
Knowledge of tonal language pedagogy
