About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the data model architecture, ensuring core data entities are structured for high-quality context
- Drive speed-to-insights by modeling data into usable, scalable formats
- Build and maintain systems, ensuring high standards for style and maintainability
- Enable self-service analytics across the company with a well-maintained data catalog
- Partner with the business to drive outcomes and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Lead the evolution of descriptive to predictive analytics, working with AI tools
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years in data analytics, analytics engineering, or BI roles
- Strong SQL skills, preferably in BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake
- Experience designing, implementing, operating, and extending Kimball dimensional models
- Familiar with BI tools, preferably Looker
- Fluent with AI tools
- Strong opinions about infrastructure building
- Experience supporting business subject areas such as marketing, finance, sales, product, or customer success (nice to have)
