About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You will maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends to assess the impact and collaborate with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions
You will direct and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives
You will identify and direct the implementation of process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality across the department
You will provide subject matter expertise to team members and internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects
You will establish and implement priorities, performance goals and objectives to ensure group results
You will direct and provide leadership to continually improve the capability and results
You will direct all EDI, API and Electric File Exchange processing and administration ensuring the service delivery is accurate, timely and meets all internal service levels
You will collaborate with Leadership on the development of all service levels
In addition, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate and ensure an understanding of the key service differentiators between Lincoln and its competitors
You will perform root cause analysis of escalated issues to proactively prevent issues/concerns going forward
In addition, you will provide EDI, API and Electronic File Exchange subject matter expertise and guidance to team members on complex escalated inquiries and/or concerns
You will review and resolve complex EDI, API and Electronic File Exchange escalated issues and concerns

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
7+ Years of experience in Eligibility Management and/or employee transaction processes including significant experience with EDI, API and Electronic File Exchange
3+ Years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience
Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal/external clients with proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches
Ability to think critically, analyze information and to evaluate the implications of a course of action or solution
Demonstrate strong project management leadership skills including critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure and meeting deadlines
Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
Deep expertise in: EDI transactions (834, 820, 835, 837)
API frameworks (REST, JSON)
Experience partnering with Employers Brokers/consultants
