About the role
- Design, develop and evaluate welding machines and associated processes
- Conduct applied research into new areas of welding machine design and/or new welding processes
- Utilize experience in a broad range of fields to understand welding accessory development process
- Interact with key stakeholders to drive new product innovation
- Maintain records of work in process and document results
- Develop/refine test methods to support new product development
Requirements
- Four-year Engineering degree is required (Electrical or Mechanical)
- Minimum of three (3) years Engineering experience for Level II
- Minimum of five (5) years Engineering experience for Level III
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to handle a constantly changing set of priorities
- Initiative to take ownership of product designs
- Broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in the field of specialization.
